About our EOFY Campaign
Parents of children with autism who have minimal spoken language often ask, "Will my child talk?" Currently, clinicians can't answer this question due to a lack of comprehensive studies.
BioAutism aims to help change that. Your donation (which is tax deductible for Australian taxpayers) will help researchers conduct long-term follow up with participants, understand
their development, and find ways to support their communication needs.
The Study
The study are recruiting 30 children from Monash Children’s Hospital, autism-specific organisations, and private clinicians.
A team of researchers affiliated with Monash University and Monash Health, will conduct follow-up assessments over 1-2 years.
Their goals is to identify factors that predict spoken language outcomes and quality of life, co-designed with those who have lived experience.
