About the event
Please join BioAutism for the Walk for Autism around Princes Park, the walk will run from 10am-12pm, the walk will commence at 10:15am from Lawn 3. Families and friends are invited to walk, run, wheelchair or scoot as many laps as you please. Please register for your free ticket, donations are encouraged on the day.
There will be a coffee van and free face painting for children, and T-shirts will be available. This is an opportunity to show your support for autism research, you can also find out more about BioAutism and meet some of the researchers that receive funding from BioAutism.
This year you are invited to not only participate in the walk but also take a steps challenge in the fortnight before the walk to raise funds for this important research. For example you could take the challenge to complete 10,000 steps per day (or another target) over two weeks. The last day of the challenge is the Walk for Autism event at Princes Park where you could do a lap of the park (approx 3,000 steps) to complete the challenge.
